I Play pickleball with Matt and I am self employed. The Health Insurance I had on the Marketplace was almost $1,000 a month because I do not qualify for a subsidy. Matt presented me a private health Insurance plan at almost half the price. There was a couple downsides to it but I am very healthy and I was going to save almost $6,000 per year in payments. A year later Matt came back and enrolled me in a new plan with out the downsides for the exact same price!
I play pickleball with Matt. I am self employed and have a good income that disqualifies me from getting a subsidy on the Marketplace health plan we had. For my wife and myself we were paying $1800 a month. Matt enrolled us in a Private health insurance plan for a $1,000 a month. There was some downsides to the plan but there is also downsides to the marketplace plan. A year later Matt found another private health Insurance plan that was a little better than the first plan so we switched again.
Matt was also able to upgrade my term life Insurance policy. Matt extended the term of the new policy by 8 years and kept the monthly payment the same and added $25,000 more in coverage even though I was several years older!
I told Matt a couple weeks ago on the pickleball court I never had an insurance agent work so hard for me to get me the best Insurance possible!
I have group health Insurance where I work but my husband doesn't qualify for the plan. Jim is diabetic and has a high A1c and needs to be on insulin. The insulin his doctor wants him to take would cost us a $1,000 per month on our present Marketplace plan. Matt was able to put him in a Marketplace for almost the exact same monthly payment and the insulin he needs now will only cost $40 a month.
I play basketball with Matt. My wife and myself are both on Medicare supplement plans and the monthly payment keeps going up and we are now in our 70's. Matt enrolled us in a Medicare Advantage plan that includes dental, vision and hearing that we did not have with the supplement plan. The maximum out of pocket per year safety net on the advantage plan is not much higher than what our monthly payments on the supplement plan was. So we had very little to lose and so much to gain if we stay healthy like we are now. Matt made it an easy and informed decision to make the change!
I play basketball with Matt and he asked me if he could review my health Insurance plan. I have Medicare A and B and also a UAW group plan from work. When I showed Matt my UAW card he recommended I stay with the group plan and if I ever left the plan I could not get it back. Then I remembered that I was called on the phone last month by an agent that enrolled me into a Medicare Advantage plan. Thanks to Matt I was able to call my UAW group plan back and save it and dis-enroll from the advantage plan.
I play pickleball with Matt and a couple of years ago I met with him to compare my health Insurance plan from the post office to a Medicare Advantage plan that Matt had enrolled himself into. Matt had me get my group plan information so we could compare the two plans. Matt made it an easy decision for me to switch to the Medicare Advantage plan. I am saving a few thousand dollars a year on my health Insurance now!
I was shopping for whole Life Insurance but was reluctant to pay on it the rest of my life since I am healthy now I would probably pay more for it than what the death benefit would be to my family. Matt found me Whole Life Insurance that would be paid for in ten years and several thousand dollars short of what the death benefit would be. Once again another easy and informed decision to put me in the best possible financial situation!
I have referred several people to Matt. During a conversation with Matt we realized that I helped Matt's sister Pam by campaigning for her in the 70's when she ran for Mayor of Toledo.

I could save thousands per year and get dental vision and hearing benefits I do not have now. When I told Matt that with my company retirement package I was getting most of my supplement monthly payments reimbursed, Matt told me that was much better and to never lose that benefit.
I am Matt's niece and we talked about my health Insurance I have for my family of four at our family reunion. About 6 months ago I enrolled my family into a private health Insurance plan from a phone call from an Insurance agent. Matt represents the same Insurance company and made me aware of what the downsides and benefits of the plan are. I had no Idea because it was never explained to me. This fall Matt called me during open enrollment in PA. Matt reviewed my situation and recommended a zero dollar per month plan through the PA marketplace. My estimated income for 2024 was very low due to expansion and investing into our company so we qualified for a highly subsidized Marketplace plan! The savings could not have come at a better time! When our business and income grows and our subsidy is gone Matt has a new plan for the self employed that do not qualify for a subsidy on the Market Place.
I moved to Ohio from India with my family for a great job opportunity. I was online applying for Marketplace Health Insurance. I pressed the button to request help from a licensed Health Insurance agent. Matt called me right away and I eventually enrolled in a plan with Matt this past summer.
With open enrollment in November again Matt contacted me to meet in person to show me alternative private health Insurance options he had access to and compare them to Marketplace plans. I had chosen the best Marketplace plan previously because my employer was reimbursing me 65% of the $1300 a month premium. Matt presented me with a Marketplace bronze plan that would only be $16 a month based on the subsidy Matt showed me I qualified for. The bronze plan would save me almost $6,000 a year out of pocket and would save my company almost $10,000 per year.
My out of pocket savings made up the difference in paying a higher deductible on the bronze plan at $16 a month. With the maximum out of pocket on both plans being close to the same and my family and myself all being in really good health it was a great choice for me to make that I would have never thought to do on my own!
Matt and myself both belong to the Holland Pickle Ball Club. Matt is a sponsor for the yearly pickleball tournament. Matt enrolled me in a Medicare Advantage Plan that has several thousand dollars of dental coverage and I was able to get all my dental work done. After my dental work was done he enrolled me in a different Medicare Advantage plan with only $1,000 in dental but it pats for my part B premium. I have saved several thousand dollars per year on my health care because of Matt!
I have referred a few of my friends to Matt and they have been very pleased with self-employed health plans and the Medicare Advantage plans that Matt has recommended!
I was on the website Healthcare.gov looking at Health Insurance plans for myself. I needed help with my application. There was a button to push to get help from a licensed health Insurance agent. After I pushed the button I received a call back from Matt the same day. Matt explained to me how the plans work and which plan would be the best for me. Matt looked up my doctor to make sure the doctor was in the plans network. Matt enrolled me in a zero dollar a month plan. Based on my health and current situation then choosing a plan with a higher monthly premium.
Matt a friend from the distant past came into my beauty salon and offered to be my agent of record for my Marketplace health Insurance plan. Matt suggested I choose a plan several hundred dollars per month less then the plan i had and add a marketplace supplement plan for $171 per month. The supplement plan would lower my deductible to lower than the plan I had and also save me hundreds of dollars per month!
