When I was 6 years old I can still remember going door to door in my neighborhood and getting paid to help my neighbors that needed help with shoveling their snow.

In grade school I started my first business. The city quit taking the garbage cans from the house and putting them back. My neighbors had to take their own cans to the curb. So

When I was 6 years old I can still remember going door to door in my neighborhood and getting paid to help my neighbors that needed help with shoveling their snow.

In grade school I started my first business. The city quit taking the garbage cans from the house and putting them back. My neighbors had to take their own cans to the curb. So I went door to door offering a service to take the cans to the curb and take them back to the house.

I established my next business in 1988 until 2019. I went door to door finding customers and was getting referrals from my customers of people that wanted the best quality and selection of meats and seafood they could find.

In the summer of 2018 I became a licensed Insurance broker for Life and health Insurance. For a couple of years my main focus was Life Insurance. In 2020 I became certified to offer Medicare plans. I soon realized the high demand for people that needed help with their health Insurance options. In 2022 I became certified to offer Market Place health Insurance after discovering that many people were going on healthcare.gov and enrolling themselves with no help and so often not choosing the best plan for their situation or being able to keep the plan they enrolled in due to application mistakes or not understanding certain requirements asked of them to keep their plan active. I soon realized that self employed or high income earners would not get a subsidy and pay a lot for their health Insurance. I searched and found better options for those people at a much better cost by choosing private health plan companies that offered a better price for as good or better coverage.

In the summer of 2023 it became apparent to me the responsibility, commitment, expertise and education required to fully and competently help guide people to their best options for health Insurance based on their situation. I started my own business again in August of 2023 which is now Matt's Health Insurance Help.

In January of 2024 I discovered Peek Performance and Clay Peek the CEO! Peek Performance has been awarded 9 times the number one Field Marketing Organization for Market Place Health Plans with over 6000 agents nationwide.

Clay personally has thousands of health Insurance enrollments on his own before starting his business. I have spent countless hours studding the extensive online training offered by Peek Performance. I am re-inventing myself to become more like Clay. I have been been getting an education from Clay that the entire industry needs to learn. The information is so important that Clay has made a good portion of the training available to all Insurance agents that find his web sight regardless of if they join Peek Performance or not.

Combined with my life long experience of both success and failures I have developed critical thinking skills to make more reality based decisions. I also tend to view situations as how to solve a problem.

I have found the best mentoring and training for myself along with the best health Insurance plans available in order to have choices to offer you based on your personal situation. One size does not fit all and I take into consideration what my clients really want personally along with what I think or know would be the best solution and present it to as your options and ultimately you decide what option to choose. It is always optimal to have as much accurate information as possible when making a decision.
